Media
The images, videos and speech you generated, in Chat or through the API, newest first, ready to view and download.

The cards
Each file is one card:
| Part | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Preview | An image opens at full size in a new tab. A video shows Play video and loads only when you play it. Speech has an audio player |
| Model and type | The model that made it, and Image, Video or Speech |
| Prompt | The prompt the file was made from, or No prompt recorded |
| Details | When it was made, what the request cost, and what the file is: its size in pixels, its length in seconds, and the file size |
| Download | Saves the file |
| Open in Logs | Opens the request that made the file in Logs |
The chips at the top show All, or only Images, Videos or Speech. The page shows 24 files at a time; Load more shows the next ones.
A request that made several files has one card per file. A video that is still being made says Still generating.
How long files are kept
Files are kept for 30 days after they were generated, then deleted automatically (Retention). A file past that point says This file has expired. Files are kept for 30 days. A file generated before media history began has no stored copy and says Not stored (generated before media history); its request is still in Logs.
From Logs
A request in Logs that generated a file shows the file in its details, with Open in Media and Download under it.
